Bioprinting is an incredible innovative process which utilizes printing technology similar to the ink jet printers that we are all accommodated to. Bioprinters use a combination of fluids, cells and proteins, referred to as “bio-ink”. The print head deposits the cell saturated fluid layer by layer to in order to produce the desired tissue. With this process it is possible to produce organs such as lungs, a heart or a liver as well as other tissue masses such as skin and bones.
Join us for more information about this process during our webinar airing early 2013, stay tuned.
